"Do you take for granted the constant stream of notifications every day?"
Some people say they rarely go camping.
One camper said, "No, I often spend time in nature."
In fact, for both, there may be parts of their daily lives where what is "behind the screen" is inseparable .
Turning off your smartphone seems a bit excessive,
Even when you're actually out in nature, notifications stay on.
Without realizing it, our consciousness continues to be connected to "someone."
But what if you just paid a little attention to the air in front of you right now?
The sound of the wind, the chirping of birds, the flickering of the fire...
There comes a moment when you suddenly realize that just doing that changes the density of the world in an amazing way .
This trip is about the difference in awareness that can be made by just a few percent.
It's a record of quiet change.
◾️PART 1: Why "Complete Digital Fasting"? 📴
📱 "I feel anxious when I don't receive notifications" - a feeling that has become commonplace in today's world, but there are surely many people who feel a quiet sense of discomfort. 📱 When you open social media, information flows in one after another. Before you know it, your mind is drawn to the screen for hours.
Even when we travel, the day ends with taking photos, posting, and checking. Why does the scenery right in front of us feel like it's happening to someone else? Perhaps it's because even though our bodies are in nature, our minds are somehow still stuck in a world of "connections."

◾️PART 2: Outdoors is the perfect solution for "digital fasting" 🏕️
🌿 Digital fasting isn't about letting go of your devices, we believe it's about reconnecting with your senses. And the best place to do this is in nature.
At first glance, not having a signal may seem inconvenient. But that inconvenience is precisely the "space" we need right now. 🔥 The flickering of a bonfire. 🌌 The chirping of insects at night. 🌄 The chill of the morning air. All of these things reach us much deeper than a notification.

◾️PART 3: A Place Away from Time 🌲
🌲 We often travel deep into the mountains or along forest roads where there's no cell phone reception. We set up a tent, 📴 turn off our smartphones, and 🌅 watch the sky change color.
Spending time like this isn't so much an "attempt" as it is a regular "return." Just by stepping away from the screen and placing my body in the sound, air, and light, I feel myself gradually becoming more in tune.
At first, you might find yourself searching your pockets for something. But then, the sounds of the wind blowing, the crackling of the bonfire, and the subtle fluctuations in the silence begin to take shape. You'll soon be enveloped in the feeling that time is slowly beginning to breathe.

◾️PART 4: What's Left After Digital Fasting 🕊️
🕊️ The next morning, I turned on my phone and found a few notifications, but they didn't bother me anymore.
What I realized after stepping away from the world for a day was that although it seemed like nothing had changed, in fact my inner self had been greatly updated.
At the same time, I realized how much "useless information" is overflowing in the world today. Much of what I thought I needed was just a flow of information, but it didn't move me in any way.
By taking some distance, only the truly important information and communications emerge. 📬 What to receive, 🗑️ What to let go. These feelings are naturally organized in the silence. There is no sense of impatience or rushing.
The "now" outside the screen was so quiet, so vivid, and so much larger than what was in the palm of my hand. That feeling stayed with me for a while.

◾️PART 5: Rooftop tents and the freedom to disconnect 🚙
🚙 We do this kind of digital fasting regularly, sometimes as planned trips on our days off, and sometimes as spontaneous drives in the evenings when we feel like we've had enough.
The FELDON SHELTER roof tent gives you the freedom to go out whenever you want, even in your everyday life.
This feeling that "white space is important" is actually something I spoke about when I first met Joel, the founder of FELDON SHELTER. It's not about rushing somewhere, it's about having a place to stop and take a break. I feel like we understood each other even before we spoke.
This journey began with a FELDON SHELTER roof tent. This isn't really camping, it's more like having "space on top of your car so you can leave whenever you want." The freedom to go out whenever you want and sleep wherever you want.
With the FELDON SHELTER installed, you can digitally fast whenever you feel like it. You don't have to rush to pack your car, or have to adjust to busy times or weekend plans; you can set off in search of tranquility at your own pace. That's the freedom of a car with a roof tent.
We live in an age where we can work in nature, like the "rooftop work" I mentioned previously. In a sense, this could be considered a "pre-stage" to digital fasting. However, the people who really need "time to fast" the most are those who continue working even when they're in nature.
Just like a doctor not taking care of himself, the more you keep moving for someone else, the more likely you are to leave your own senses behind. It is at times like these that a roof tent comes in handy as a device that forces you to stop.
If you're going on a digital fast, I recommend just letting go of everything. 📶 Wi-Fi, 💻 laptop, 📆 calendar. This will help you see what you really need.
At first, you may not know how to spend your time doing nothing.
Think back to when you were a child. You probably just played enthusiastically without worrying about time. It was actually quite natural for you to spend time without looking at the clock.
⛺️ Also, roof tents are a bit like a secret base, aren't they? Spending time in a special place like on top of your car. Even as adults, we may still need a place like that where we can have fun without comparing ourselves to anyone else.
You can be alone, or with someone special. A space where you can just spend time quietly, without adding anything and without being rushed. But that's okay. 🌤 Look at the sky, 🍃 Feel the wind, 👂 Listen carefully to the sounds. The moment you feel bored may be a sign that your senses are returning.
🛌 FELDON SHELTER roof tents are not just a place to sleep. They are also a chance to pause and take a moment. Your own personal tranquility will unfold during the time you spend in the tent and in nature.
🔕 On your next trip, try turning off just one notification on your smartphone. That small change will surely start to change things.
