Features of the Crow's Nest Extended (2-person rooftop tent):
- The tent annex and rainfly cover the ladder entry, providing a shelter. The annex also has windows and openings (mesh) to enjoy the panoramic view of nature.
- Feldon Shelter's original windows not only offer a 360-degree panoramic view but are also designed with aerodynamics in mind, providing excellent safety in strong winds.
- Feldon Shelter's original honeycomb cell structure provides approximately three times the strength of conventional rooftop tents, offering superior impact resistance.
- Feldon Shelter's original durable storage space (net type) at the base is ideal as an extra space for drying wet camping gear.

Camping in the untouched wilderness of New Zealand can be quite challenging, to be honest (which is also an advantage when designing and developing tents). New Zealand is often described as having "four seasons in one day." Thanks to its long, narrow shape, neighboring countries call it the country with the most diverse weather conditions in the world. This country, with all its weather conditions, is truly ideal for developing rooftop tents.
Strong sunlight, wind, snow, and heavy rain. The rooftop tents that Feldon Shelter has developed over many years at its own factory in New Zealand not only boast durability against the worst weather conditions but also provide a solution that allows anyone to easily enjoy the outdoors.
Feldon Shelter's unique dome-shaped roof prevents water from pooling on the roof and prevents leaks from the roof. The curve of the roof is also excellent in terms of aerodynamics, boasting high wind resistance.
To ensure a comfortable stay inside the tent, particular attention has been paid to waterproofing, with a special waterproof treatment applied to the canvas and taped seams using waxed thread to achieve higher sealing.
Also, considering New Zealand's strong sunlight, the Crow's Nest tent uses ripstop fabric made of a polyester/cotton blend, resulting in a product with excellent UV resistance and durability. Reinforced double stitching and sturdy YKK zippers are used throughout the product, and an aluminum reinforced frame and marine-grade stainless steel fittings ensure high long-term durability.
This rooftop tent, boasting the highest quality on the market, is equipped with carefully selected, state-of-the-art safety features. Sufficient storage space is ensured by storage pockets at the base of the tent (for shoes and small items), ceiling storage straps, and convenient internal storage pockets. A lightweight retractable stainless steel ladder, easy-to-use one-touch hand tools, and ample ventilation functions allow for comfortable camping and full enjoyment of adventures.
Feldon Shelter's uniquely developed queen-size high-density foam ErgoCell mattress (60mm thick) is large enough for two adults to rest comfortably. Even very tall people can secure ample comfortable space. The bottom, sides, and corners of the mattress are excellently waterproofed. Rest comfortably on a soft and comfortable bed to soothe the fatigue of a day's journey. Lack of sleep caused by uneven ground or rocky areas will be completely resolved.
Installation method and details
It can be installed on any vehicle, from small 2-door hatchbacks to robust large trucks. While the tent installation itself is very easy, it is important to carefully consider which side the tent will open. The rear, side, or front of the vehicle can be used as the tent entrance. Once that is decided, all that is needed is a roof rack (or carrier) with a dynamic load capacity of 75kg or more.
However, for vehicles with high clearance (height from the ground to the top of the roof rack of 2m or more), an extension ladder is required separately.
The maximum load capacity of the Crow's Nest rooftop tent is 300kg. Product Specifications

Rainfly: Diamond ripstop polyester X-canvas (420D). Waterproof, mildew-proof, UV, antibacterial treated.
Travel Cover: 2000 denier reinforced PVC. Triple reinforced panels in high-wear areas. Constructed with UV-resistant thread (the same used in yacht sails).
Base: 30mm aluminum fully TIG welded frame with 10 internal reinforcement backbones.

The height including the ladder, tent cover, and base is approximately 40cm,
but if there is a step at the entrance, such as in a garage, the angle will change,
so please calculate with a margin of about 5cm to 10cm for installation.
