Over the past five years, we've proven that Crow's Nest tents can withstand the worst conditions, and our innovative design makes adventure easy. And now, those same tents are available in Australia.

It's this design and time of effort that sets us apart. We're not just another rooftop tent product with a logo slapped on it. Key design features include:

Unique Window Design: Large curved window design provides 360° views, and angled window coverings provide excellent aerodynamic performance in high winds. Large Radius Curved Roof: A New Zealand first, the curved roof design prevents water accumulation and reduces resistance in high winds.

Storage Features: The Crow's Nest design integrates a variety of storage features, including two shoe pockets, a base-mounted spring pole pocket, an overhead cargo net (extended model), and interior pockets.

Heavy-Duty PVC Travel Cover: Made from durable 720G PVC with triple-layer reinforcement panels welded to high-wear areas. A world-first roll-up design.

Bed Storage: Larger hinges compared to other rooftop tents allow you to keep your bedding and pillows stored even when the tent is closed. Quick-Release Hand Attachment: Easily install, swap between vehicles, and remove the tent.

60mm ErgoCell High-Density Foam Mattress: Encased in a removable cotton cover, it features a waterproof ripstop lining, sides, and moisture-wicking corners. It's removable and machine washable and can accommodate people up to 7 feet tall.
Versatile Mounting System: A fully adjustable mounting system allows the Crow's Nest to be attached to any vehicle and can be deployed from the side, rear, or front.

Here are some of the ingredients that set us apart:

Canvas: Heavy-duty, PU-treated 340G ripstop polycotton provides an extremely durable, 100% waterproof tent body, combined with an effective ventilated design.
Lightweight Diamond Ripstop Rainfly: 3000mm waterproof PU-treated 420D diamond ripstop polyester is extremely lightweight, ultra-weatherproof, and UV-resistant. It's stronger and more durable than typical square ripstop alternatives.

All-Metal Construction: No moving plastic parts. All hinges and hardware are made from marine-grade stainless steel, and the framing and poles are anodized aluminum, ensuring corrosion-free parts even in beach environments.

YKK Zippers: Smooth, durable, and extremely reliable, they require no lubrication.

Marine Grade Stainless Steel Eyelets: Sourced in New Zealand for superior strength and corrosion resistance.

Extra Wide Strap: Made with durable 40mm strap, Velcro and marine-grade attachment rings.

Aluminum honeycomb cell base construction: Dent-proof and 3 times stronger than a regular rooftop tent base (extended model only).

Manufacturing Process: Designed in New Zealand, Kiwis are involved in the entire manufacturing process. We work closely with our factory in Beijing and are proud that every item is overseen and produced by New Zealand members of the Feldon Shelter team. Through this manufacturing process, we are proud to offer a 2-year warranty on all our products.
