3. Installation position and fastening method

The ROLL-OUT AWNING is secured at two points, front and rear, on the roof rack or crossbars. Check the rack shape and the presence of grooves, and select a position that does not interfere with the vehicle. Also check the permissible load capacity of the vehicle and the rack.

Caution during installation: Do not fully tighten during the trial fitting stage. Secure after checking for interference with doors, tailgate, roof tent, and cargo.

4. Vehicle installation procedure

1. Determine the fixing position on the rack side

Check for a position that allows sufficient deployment space on the side of the car body. Adjust the position of the rack or crossbars so that they can be secured at two points, front and rear.

2. Insert T-screws into the rack-side grooves

Slide the T-screws into the front and rear rack or crossbar grooves and temporarily place the L-brackets.

5. Deployment procedure

1. Open the cover

Unsnap the outer cover buttons and open the cover. Loosen the hook-and-loop fasteners holding the main unit.

2. Pull out the tarp

Pull the tarp out of the aluminum frame and deploy the left and right frames.

3. Deploy the legs

Remove the two legs from the inside of the front beam and rotate them towards the ground. Adjust to the required height and lock them.

Caution: Rotate the legs down using the base as an axis, but do not rotate the black resin joint in the middle of the leg (this may cause damage).

4. Secure the arms

Insert the end pins into the corresponding holes, extend the arms, and connect them to the front beam. Secure the hook-and-loop fasteners and peg down the guy ropes.

Storage method

To store, follow the reverse order of deployment. Make sure the fabric and arms are securely stowed, close the cover, and fasten the snap buttons.

6. Checks during use, storage, and before driving

During use

  • To prevent overturning, always peg down the guy ropes.
  • In rainy weather, create an appropriate slope for water to drain.
  • Store the tarp early before strong winds or rain.
  • In snowy conditions, frequently remove snow to prevent the fabric from stretching.

During storage

  • If stored wet, dry it as soon as possible.
  • Check the fabric, frame, and cover for any abnormalities.
  • Close the cover and securely fasten the snap buttons.

Before driving

  • Check for any looseness in the L-brackets, T-screws, and bolts on the back of the main unit.
  • Check for any rattling or unusual noises from the main unit.
  • If you have any concerns about the stability of the installation, do not drive.

Strong winds/inclement weather: Store the tarp early before the weather worsens. Do not leave it set up unattended.

In case of malfunction: If you notice any damage, deformation, significant looseness, or unusual noises, discontinue use. Please refer to the purchase information and retailer's guide for warranty conditions and repair options.
