There are places I want to see again.
Minami Boso, Awa Shirahama.
THE DOG DEPT GARDEN RESORT - Awa Shirahama -, a resort created by DOG DEPT, is a campsite by the waves where both dogs and people can relax.
This time, we collaborated with this place as REGRESS .
What we were involved in was not the content or the product - it was the "gaze" that gazes upon the landscape .
My role this time was to convey a feeling more definite than words could convey through video.
◾️There was a landscape that made me want to stop in my tracks.
No matter how much you've seen the outdoors,
There aren't many landscapes that make you suddenly want to stop and take a look.
However, it was available in Awa Shirahama.
It's not flashy, but
Enjoy the sound of the waves, the reflection of the light, and the spacious deck where you can spend time with your dog .
The moment when the sun sinks into the sea is breathtakingly beautiful.
I intuitively knew that there was no need to "add" anything to this, and that I should just take the photo as it was .
◾️More than collaboration, it's resonance.
REGRESS and DOG DEPT──
Even though what they express is different,
There was a strong commonality in their perspective on time, which is "spending time together with someone."
Our video pursues the feeling of dissolving into the landscape.
Don't try to force a story, just go with the flow and watch what you see.
That's the REGRESS way.
◾️Just a place to relax.
There was nothing overly elaborate about this place.
A spacious deck where you can relax with your dog, listening to the sound of the waves and enjoying the gentle breeze.
Just that alone makes me feel at ease.
Of course, guests without dogs are also welcome to stay at this resort.
